INSCAPE 2012 - symbols and tattoos

tribal markings tattooed on a woman's back. One of our Inscape editors wrote the story that inspired these drawings; they were extremely pleased with the ones I brought in the other week and suggested I try this one. I don't know how to depict tribal tattoos, sometimes they become familiar symbols. do you recognize any?

I favor Draft 1 on the left; I am reminded of Shadow of the Colossus [link] - Inspired but not Imitated.
